-Developed a molecular diagnostic kit for the ClariLIght CL30 POC device, enabling the detection of SARS-CoV-2, influenza, and RSV viruses in human samples.
-Lead R&D development of 3 new ClariLight CL30 diagnostic panels targeting Tuberculosis (TB), Monkeypox virus (MPX) and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).
-Successfully led the establishment of a BSL-2 laboratory, and created clinical and reference samples biobank.
R&D Scientist and Consultant @ ATCC

-Developed and launched 24 novel ATCC microbiome research products.
-Launched 147 multidrug resistant clinical isolates for ATCC microbial cell collection.
-Managed ATCC external collaborations and supervised a team of microbiologists and bioinformaticians to develop genome sequencing pipelines for the creation of the ATCC Genome Portal.
-Supported DNA extraction, sequencing and assembling over 1000 microbial genomes for ATCC Genome Portal.

-Authored a first author publication and coauthor in peer-reviewed publications describing a novel uncultured bacterium and developing metagenomics analysis tools.
-Discovered a natural product from a marine organism through genomic studies, biochemical analysis and bioinformatics.
-Identified antibiotic resitant bacteria from human sepsis patients and through shotgun metagenomics analysis of human blood samples.
